About This Option

A backlit TV panel places a light source behind or around the screen so a bright picture does not sit against a dark wall, which reduces eye strain during night viewing and gives the wall a floating, cinema-like depth. We use warm or neutral LED strips set into a routed channel with a diffuser, held 40mm to 60mm off the wall so light spreads evenly instead of showing hot spots. The strip runs on its own dimmable circuit separate from room lighting, and the driver sits in an accessible compartment because drivers fail long before the LEDs do. The panel itself can be fluted, veneer, laminate, stone or acoustic fabric, with routing for both light and cabling fixed in the shop drawing before manufacture. Bias lighting works best in neutral or warm white, though RGB is available if you want colour scene control.
