Pooja Interior
Compact wall-mounted mandirs for flats and niches — sacred space without a dedicated room.
A wall mounted mandir gives a flat or compact home a proper prayer space without surrendering floor area. The unit is fixed onto load-rated anchors in a solid wall and sized to the idols and daily items only, typically 450mm to 700mm wide with a platform depth around 300mm. Because it hangs at chest or eye height, we plan a heat-safe surface at the lamp position and keep any shutter or jaali clear of the flame path. Below the platform a shallow drawer or small cabinet holds wicks, incense and pooja articles so nothing has to be stored elsewhere in the house. A backlit jaali or a small profile light behind the idol makes a compact mandir feel considered rather than improvised. It works well in living room corners, kitchen-adjacent niches, corridor walls and bedrooms where a full pooja room is not possible.
