About This Option

A CNC pooja unit uses computer-cut jaali panels for the backdrop, shutters or side screens, producing intricate traditional patterns with a consistency hand carving cannot repeat across a large panel. We work from a pattern you approve and scale the motif so cut density suits the panel size: too fine and the panel loses strength, too coarse and the pattern reads as plain holes. Panels are cut in MDF, HDHMR, WPC or acrylic depending on whether the unit sits in a dry niche or close to a lamp, then PU-finished or laminated in gold, white, teak or brass tones. The real effect comes from backlighting, so we build a lit cavity with a diffuser behind the jaali rather than fixing a strip directly against it, which is what turns the pattern into projected light and shadow. CNC work suits modern homes that want traditional character without heavy carved joinery.
